Time Management
I will be honest and say I do not like planning out my week for my classes, it was something they attempted to instill when I was in elementary school (fairly poorly I will say, it was never really consistent); yet I found that it was more irritating than anything because due to personal issues, my schedule shifts often and I just don't focus on things that way. Still, I attempted to make a fairly simple schedule that just includes the basics; like sleeping, eating, studying, and personal free time. It was only kept simple because it makes it easier to work with my procrastination and my general way of going around assignments--the amount of free time left between each task letting me unwind for a moment before I start up that specific task again. Though, this doesn't necessarily align with some of the advice I was given from my classmates (such as pushing through the boredom that some of my classes give me), it may help me work ahead of time like they recommended and not make me very irritated (something that will make me want to work less instead of more).
When making this weekly plan, I attempted to schedule my time wasters instead of eliminating them all together. Such as allowing myself to play video games at 4pm as a reward for working on classwork the previous hours before (really that's the only time waster I added except TV which is after dinner). I didn't add more because something that would be considered a time waster (an example being videos on in the background) sometimes helps me finish my assignments faster--the noise being something that helps me focus. But, making this was also quite hard because I work better under pressure; I do not like giving myself much time to do my assignments, especially essays, because it will make me worry about the product and over correct. Leading to a submitted assignment that looks more like a jumbled mess instead of my usual submissions which are made in the day they're due and given corrections for thirty or so minutes before I submit it.
I didn't really plan any socializing time because I don't go out often at all, mainly because my friends have jobs now or are in school which means they don't have time, and I don't currently have a job. Meal prepping wasn't really included either because I mainly heat up left-overs from last nights dinner or eat easy to make pre-packaged meals (they're healthy though, don't worry!). Though, I don't find these to be bad things--I prefer my personal time and hanging out with my cat, the only times I really socialize are during conventions or during family events now, which is enough for me.
Overall, I'm aware this will be tough to accomplish because it doesn't align with the way my brain works. I'm a person that likes to do things spontaneously and prefers when things are planned for me and this assignment doesn't really allow for that wiggle room. But, I'll do my best to stick to the advice I was provided and attempt to look over the schedule often and not deviate much from it.
